CML DAY OBSERVED BY KHERI ON 22ND SEPTEMBER 2024
In the second phase of programme Prof. (Dr.) Rajib De enlightened the audience with his speech on the concept of CML. His speech harped on medical information on Myeloid Leukemia. This was followed by the Inaugural ceremony. The delegates were felicitated by the young Kherians. Some of the eminent guests in the inaugural ceremony were Dr. SwaponSoren, Mr. KallolBasu, Dr. Sharmila Chandra. They shared their views on the activities and continuous awareness generating work of KHERI. The new members of the Governing body were also introduced in the session.
The third phase of the event started with the interactive session between the patients of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. Some of the fighters sharing their experience about their struggle and the support they were extended by doctors added inspiration for those who were facing same difficulty. Ms. Manjumani Madam, one of the fighters, extended her views on her struggle with disease and she was continuously supported by Dr. Rajib De.
The last two events of the day was the dance performance and the theatre ‘ BhusudirMaathe’ performed by the various blood warriors associated with Kheri. These two cultural progamme added more elation to this CML day.
